The IMESA 2011 Conference (which also marks their Golden Jubilee of 75 years) will run from the 26th – 28th October at Birchwood, near to OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg. The event promises to be a momentous occasion with the theme 'Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow' which will look back at the achievements of the past and provide insight into the future of municipal engineering in Southern Africa. This year looks to be the biggest IMESA conference to date and we look forward to seeing you there. Gautrain Technical Tour On the afternoon of the 27th October, the IMESA team have organised a Technical Tour which will include a ride on the Gautrain from Rhodesfield Station into Sandton. A guide will take delegates through interesting facts surrounding the whole project and explain how major challenges were overcome during its construction.
