Civil Designer - Number 1 in Africa

and MANY More

To realize visions, exceptional engineers take advantage of integrated design tools of world-class excellence. Civil Designer will help you to go beyond expectations.

Civil Designer - Number 1 in Africa!

There are many reasons why Civil Designer has taken over as the leading software of its kind on the African continent. We will be focusing on what has contributed to this phenomenal success in the next few newsletters.

As we firmly cement our number 1 position in Africa, we are thrilled to see that we are even experiencing increased demand in African countries such as Zimbabwe. They seem to be slowly turning the corner as witnessed in February this year while working with the City of Bulawayo. The designers were very enthusiastic about using Civil Designer after the training and were amazed at the functionality it offered.

First off we want to focus on thanking all South African civil engineers that have been loyal users and have helped us reach market saturation with just about every single civil engineering consultancy and municipality using our software. We could not have done this without your tremendous support in helping make Civil Designer what it is today through your continual feedback, development requests and loyalty.

    WE ARE CIVIL ENGINEERS OURSELVES
It certainly has helped us hugely to have staff with civil engineering backgrounds. In fact it has been fundamental to our service offering because having this perspective beyond IT and programming means we understand your needs. Being civil engineers ourselves makes us equally passionate about civil engineering.

WE FOCUS ON GOING BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
It has always been our internal company policy to "go beyond expectations." This has been our motivator for Civil Designer 2011 and will underscore all our future versions as leaders in civil engineering infrastructure software. We are excited about releasing 2013 towards the end of this year.

WE GIVE REAL VALUE AND HAVE THE BETTER BUSINESS STRUCTURE
We frequently ask ourselves "How we can pass real value on to our clients... Where can we do it even better!" By doing this, we keep pushing the envelope and innovating.

We realise that in todayís world there is no space for complacency. This is after all the era of optimised companies with streamlined business operations, A-level staff and advanced systems. The type of business structure which encourages visionaries and enables us to focus on delivering quality software backed by outstanding support embedded in a close relationship with you. Itís all about how can we give our clients 10 times more than they expect!

WE CAN GUARANTEE OUR CLIENTS THAT THEY HAVE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION
It is with great satisfaction that we can guarantee our clients the peace of mind that their choice to use our software will be a great asset in the future, particularly as some of our competitors may not be set to stay in Africa for the long run, if current indicators are anything to go by.

As the great Winston Churchill said, "History will be kind to me, because I intend to write it." Well we intend to write the history of civil engineering infrastructure software now and in the years to come.

    Always taking the lead

We believe that many of our competitors are going to struggle in the future as their software simply can't handle the sheer volumes of data that we are currently able to support. In 2008 we invested 3 years of intensive development to ensure that our software can handle more data than any other software package in the industry.

Popular CAD competitors that are global players and have branched into Civil Engineering software simply have not reworked their CAD and DTM engines to handle this future need. We, on the other hand, have just broken new records for civil engineering design software with the amount of features and functionality that we offer, and have handled over 25 million points (25,726,508 to be exact) from a LIDAR survey. The data was required for the 400km railway design needed for the Kranzberg - Tsumeb railway line in Namibia.

Furthermore, we have managed to ensure that while our software has more functions and features than competing offerings: it only uses half the amount of RAM than other packages.

This proactive approach forms part of our philosophy of anticipating our client's needs and staying way ahead of the competition.

In our next newsletter we will focus more on what Civil Designer has to offer in terms of features and functions, our dedicated support centre and training that actually gets people jobs in the industry.

    Till our next quarterly newsletter,
