Civil Designer 6.5 includes numerous new features and enhancements as listed below:
Roads
There is now a Kerb Editor which allows kerbs to be viewed in cross-section and the calculation of kerb quantities.
An Auxiliary lanes function has now been added.
The means to calculate Speed profiles with suggestions on climbing lane positioning.
There is now the means to analyse crossing pipes on cross sections.
Pipe databases can now be displayed on plan layouts.
Survey and Terrain
Now allows the export of Dam volumes results to stormwater reservoir files.
We now handle New Zealand projection
A child string can now be added at a given height with varying slopes from its parent string
A New names filter dialog has been included which is more user friendly.
There is now a Multiple polyline to DTM function.
Enhancements to the 3D view routine have also been made.
Sewer + Storm
Now includes SWMM.
The ability to display water levels on Vertical alignment view
The means to replay results on a Vertical alignment view by changing the water level incrementally for time based analysis methods.
The Erf connections routine has been enhanced so as to be more interactive with the the Sewer network.
a. This Auto Updates Sewer levels routine, and
b. Updates inflow units as the user adds new erf connections.
Water
There is now an optimization module which has been added to
A new Pipe/pump cataloque updater allowing the user to update his cataloques with this function.
Lowara pumps have now been included.
Hydraulic grade and Pressure contours have now been included.
CAD
A new autotracking algorithm for Area calculations and complex hatches has been included.
The means to apply a twist when exporting and importing from AutoCAD.
The means to import hatches with splines as boundaries from AutoCAD
