The Civil Designer Support Centre provides a comprehensive support service for our clients and has recently been expanded to include an additional consultant. The Centre is staffed by professionals who have extensive knowledge of the software and who work alongside the software developers to ensure that your requests are given priority.

The support team also monitor the Civil Designer Support Forum. Forum members are allowed the unique opportunity of conversing with other like-minded users as well as various Knowledge Base Software Experts. Features & Functionality 



Civil Designer's Water module allows the creation of groups of water entities which can then be manipulated as a group. Groups are essentially permanent selection sets and can be thought of in the same way as layers in a drawing. They are simply created by moving selected entities into a new group.

Groups can be used for example to separate quantities relating to a bulk line and the number of villages included in the project. In this case the water entities would be divided into groups according to those belonging to the bulk infrastructure and each of the villages. In the Quantities dialog a summary for the selected group can be viewed.

Another example would be to divide water entities according to a phased development. In this case, in addition to separating quantities, the system could also be hydraulically analysed for each phase separately.
