Africa Roads Awards

AfricaRoads 2008

A new Roads Award programme is to be launched at this year's Africa Roads conference taking place between 12 - 15 May

at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg. The Africa Roads Awards programme has been initiated by Africa Roads in conjunction with the Johannesburg Roads Agency and will provide recognition of innovation, reform and development in Africa's road sector. The Award programme is to be launched at the Gala Dinner on the 13 May.

Knowledge Base will be exhibiting at this year's conference and will be providing demonstrations on Civil Designer's Roads design module.

Features & Functionality

The Kerb Editor in Civil Designer's Roads Module allows you to incorporate kerbs in cross sections and to calculate kerb quantities. You can build up your own library of kerbs, or use the kerb library that is supplied with the program. The tool defines and edits kerb geometry and formulae that will be used to calculate quantities as you work. The generation of kerbs on cross section plots can be completed in seconds.
