Beta Testing Rewards |

The Civil Designer 6.5 Beta Testing phase has successfully concluded with clients competing in the testing process for the rewards incentive. Civil Designer Team Manager Dawid du Toit recently announced the winners as follows: Gideon Hahn from EFG Engineers, Durbanville won the 'Highway'
|
status for the most feedback submitted during this phase, followed by Paul du Toit from
GOBA Sunninghill, Andrew van Gruting from Goba, Port Elizabeth and Willem de Vries from MPS Consulting Engineers, Bloemfontein who received 'Collector' Status.

2007 marks the 85th anniversary of one of our long standing clients, Jeffares & Green Group, first established in 1922 as "Mr JLS Jeffares Consulting Practice".
The company's 85th anniversary was celebrated at various regions and provided a tribute to the achievements of pioneers
|
of engineering in Africa. This tribute was presented to guests in the form of a book entitled, Chronicles from the Bushveld. Knowledge Base would like to congratulate Jeffares & Green on reaching this milestone.

THE SEWER MODULE
|
The sewer network analysis and design module provides interactive drawing functionality for rapid model definition. The program handles calculations like inflows with attenuation and dynamic time simulation as well as flows, overflows, sizes, invert levels and slopes with ease.
You can also perform full erf connection drainage analysis using the minimum erf level. Other functions include user-defined culvert types and sizes and interactive horizontal and vertical alignment editing. In Sewer you can produce plans and long sections, check for crossing services and perform a clash analysis. The program also provides SABS1200 quantities including excavation, bedding and backfill volumes.
