| WELCOME TO THE CIVIL DESIGNER NEWSLETTER |
 |
While the global economy is facing tough times, we are encouraged by the fact that provision has been made for South Africa's ongoing infrastructure development. The 2009 Budget made a further R6.4-billion available for public transport, roads and rail networks and R5.3-billion for municipal infrastructure and bulk water systems. Investment in transport-related infrastructure projects is estimated to total R50,9-billion over the next three years.
That's good news for all us involved in infrastructure and with CIVIL DESIGNER being the number one choice in South Africa, we are looking forward to an exciting, busy and pro-active 2009.
This year it's also our 20th Birthday, which we celebrate in June, and it gives us great satisfaction to look back and see how we have continued to grow from strength to strength over the years.
CLAIM BACK 90% OF YOUR SOFTWARE COST
Yes that's right, the Department of Trade and Industry are offering to contribute up to 90% of the cost of your software. This is offered to all enterprises that are majority black-owned in South Africa. The scheme further provides such companies with access to business development services that assist them to improve their core competencies, upgrade managerial capabilities and restructure their processes to become more competitive. Not a bad deal at all!
The maximum grant amount you can qualify for is a R100 000 towards the procurement of CIVIL DESIGNER and AllyCAD software. Additionally you can get a grant for training on the software for up to R15 000 (ex vat) per individual. To date 15 of our customers have benefitted from this system. While the process can take between 2 weeks up to 6 months, depending on numerous factors, we are able to lease the software out to you in that period so you can get immediate access at little cost. To qualify for this incredible opportunity your company will need to meet the following requirements:
- Enterprises that are majority black owned and have a significant representation of black managers on their management team.
- Enterprises with a maximum annual turnover of R12 million per annum.
- Must have a minimum trading history of one year.
Please contact us for information about applying for the grant.
