LINK COVER IN STORMWATER NETWORKS
 |
The sewer and stormwater networks are designed according to the minimum cover specifications on the nodes. It is however important to ensure that the full length of the pipelines have sufficient cover. This task was previously performed manually by checking all the long sections and measuring the cover on the pipeline according to the ground level.

With the 'Check Link Cover' function in Civil Designer 6.4 you can now automatically check the minimum cover over the length of the link. This function allows the designer to test the length of all the links for minimum cover and views problem areas in plan or on a longitudinal section.

Civil Designer Training |

Civil Designer courses are NQF aligned and accredited through the Sector Education and Training Authority, ISETT SETA. This means that companies will be able to claim back the money spent on training courses when they submit their Skills Development Plan to their respective SETA's.
Training courses also allow you to accumulate CPD points with each course attended and passed. Continual Professional Development (CPD) points became compulsory for all categories of registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
