How to Load Civil Designer 6.x Projects in version 2011

This Tech Tip explains how to load an old Civil Designer project in Civil Designer 2011.

Loading the Project:

File Menu › Import › Civil Designer 6 Project


Browse to the folder where the old project is stored, select the *.cdp file and click on the Open button to continue


The project will then be imported. and the files converted to the new format (note the file extensions end with 7). The existing files will remain
