Generate a Long section with Levels at Specific Chainages

This tech tip explains how to generate a longsection with levels at specific chainages (i.e. levels at every 100m). This is very handy if cross sections have been extracted every 10m but on the longsection you only want levels plotted at every 100m.

Click on the Load button, open the Single Carriageway longsection sheetfile.
 

Click on the Open button to continue.

Click on the Long Section tab (on top), and the Road tab (at the bottom)

In the top area of the dialog, use the scroll bar to scroll to the right.

Change the value in the "Round" column to the desired interval i.e. 100

Once the changes are made, the sheet file needs to be saved.

Click on the Save As button. (give the sheet file a new name, so that the original is kept in case the editing corrupts the file or gives unexpected results)
