Shortcut Keys Used in the Roads Module
This tech tip explains the various shortcut keys (Hot
Keys) used in Roads Module. |
Roads Windows Shortcut Keys (Hot-Keys)
The following Hot-Keys can be used in the Roads
Window, while using Section › Graphical Edit or
editing the Vertical Alignment or Edge Levels.

Magnify
around the cursor. |
|
D |
De-magnify around the cursor. |
|
R |
Redraw
the alignment to its limits. |
|
S |
Refresh
the display |
|
H |
Jump to
the nearest horizontal alignment point. |
|
G |
Jump to
the nearest ground line point. |
|
J |
Jump to
the nearest VPI or Super Elevation change point. |
|
L |
Lock the
cursor movement to the nearest vertical
alignment line (ESC to unlock). |
|
F |
(Follow)
Toggle Auto-pan on or off. When moving the
cursor on the Roads Window, its horizontal
position will be tracked with a cross on the
Design Center window. If Auto-pan is switched
on, the Design Center Window will automatically
pan as soon as the cross moves out of view. |
Right Click Menu
Right clicking in the Roads Window, while using
Section › Graphical Edit brings up the following menu:

Right clicking in the Roads Windows while editing the
Vertical Alignment brings up the following
menu:

Right clicking in the Roads Windows while editing the
Edge Levels brings up the following menu:

These menus give the user access to the most commonly
used functions when editing.
