Dongle Management
Civil Designer's modules can be utilised efficiently and
effectively without the need to buy new dongles by
simply distributing the module usage. While the Design
Centre module is a prerequisite for every user, a
network dongle allows your staff to use different Civil
Designer modules simultaneously.
Not only does this enable you to maximise your
resources without purchasing duplicate copies
of the Civil Designer modules but it also makes the
software accessible to any PC workstation
on your network or VPN.
When new modules are purchased, users can activate them on their existing network
dongle via an on-line activation process.
In order to achieve this the user must communicate with
the Knowledge Base Support Centre
in order to receive instructions on how to reprogramme
the dongle.
Once the additional module has been purchased and the
reprogramming has been completed
the on-line activation will
automatically update your dongle.
To add the activation code go to:
File > Security > Authorise
and select the 'Authorise On-Line' option.
This will activate the new module on your network
dongle.

The Civil Designer dongle activation system means that
none of your Design Modules need to stand idle
and you can optimise your resources to the maximum.
